30 and loving it!

Happy birthday to me! Well, I am not often surprised but Patrick was extra sneaky this year! So yesterday (the 18th) he emailed me several times (from work) about making sure the house was in order before he came home - I of course was like...um...have the house in tip top shape all by myself while taking care of my two little men AND before the cleaning people arrive the next morning? Yeah right! I promised to do my best but didn't promise a sparkling house!

It soon became apparent why he wanted me to straighten up....

That night he came home and met me up stairs while I was changing the boys (in kind of a hurry because I was focused on getting to the gym) So, as we headed down the stairs I saw black legs/boots and then Mary's head sitting in our living room! After freaking out I wrapped my head around the fact that my lil' sis was actually here for my big 3-0! I was so excited!

Thank you Patrick for flying her here for my special day! What a great guy...

The surprises didn't stop there... tonight we enjoyed cake & gifts... he even surprised me with something sparkly!
